The Global HIV Prevention Working Group has developed reports and other materials about critical HIV prevention issues.

What does prevention mean today?
In January, 2012, a meeting of the PWG was convened to discuss, What does HIV prevention mean today? The available evidence, key prevention strategies (including male circumcision and treatment for prevention) and existing frameworks for guidance on combination prevention, were reviewed and discussed. Thirty (30) of the 53 PWG members attended the two day meeting. The main points of discussion on the agenda were: decision-making on HIV prevention to maximize results, the HIV prevention continuum post-052 strategic options, call to action on male circumcision and future directions for the PWG.
